In this day-long performance, /skeɪn/, I explore the generational impacts of narratives regarding women's legacies and fear of scarcity. I use materials of personal significance to knit myself into a series of cocoons, only to unravel them and repeat. /skeɪn/ promotes meditation on the origin, significance, and utility of stories that construct identity and legacy.

I performed /skeɪn/July 19th, 2017 at VAE Raleigh as part of Under Pressure, a monthlong festival of endurance performance work at VAE Raleigh.
